Canon have just announced 2 NEW EOS 5D Models- the EOS 5Ds & EOS 5DsR. These NEW models feature an Incredible 50.6 MegaPixels CMOS Full-Frame Sensor (1 with a low-pass cancellation filter), 2 powerful DIGIC 6 processing engines, improved Auto-Focus system & Mirror Vibration Control. Just surprisingly no in-built WiFi.

The excitement of hearing the news about these 2 NEW cameras, was INSTANTLY SHATTERED as it appears Canon will only be selling these products through selective distribution .ie. NOT US...
We have Sold many of the Canon EOS 5D series cameras over the years, from the Original EOS 5D, EOS 5D mark II & EOS 5D mark III. Were they/or were they not Professional Models? Yet at the moment, we are unable to SELL the NEW EOS 5Ds & EOS 5DsR .
As an owner myself of a Canon EOS 5D Mark II & as an Independent Company we pride ourselves on Customer Service & Product Knowledge. The likely scenario is these cameras will fall into the hands of the 'Box Pushers', who's main interest is to drive down the Price & De-Value the product.
